Whenever working with melted wax, there is always a chance of dripping. To avoid excessive dripping please do the following:
Trim the wick to about ¼ inch before you light the candle, every single time.
Burn the candle away from drafts. This is one of the most important ways to prevent dripping, especially with a taper candle due to the thin wall of wax holding in the melted wax.
Make sure your taper candle is secure and standing straight. Even a perfect candle does not win against gravity. If the candle is leaning, it will drip. Soften the bottom of your taper candle with a match and secure it into your taper holder.
All of our candles are made with 100% beeswax and a 100% cotton square braided wicks. We buy our products only from American vendors and hand pour each candle in our kitchen.
